Engaging Millennials in Ministry Workshop

Who are Millennials, and what are they expecting of church?
Does church matter to them at all?
And what can we do to get them involved?

Kay Edwards will share the findings from a national study of Millennials, sponsored by the Siebert Lutheran Foundation. This study answers key questions about Millennials, their engagement with worship communities, and some practical ideas for how church leaders can make the connection to members of this large and influential generation.

About the speaker: Kay Edwards is founder and CEO of Outsight Network. For more than 25 years, Kay has provided counsel in marketing research, planning, and organizational development. She is a national leader in research among faith-based and denominational institutions, and has developed research models that enable organizations to learn and plan while respecting their unique culture and relationships with their constituents. Kay holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and has done graduate work in English/Creative Writing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
