Safeguarding God's Children
A resolution was passed at the 2011 Nebraska Synod Assembly that encourages congregations to train adults who work with young people on guidelines for Safeguarding God’s Children. It also provides that the Synod shall continue to provide such training to ministry leaders.

Lincoln Area Youth Ministry Network
Adults working with youth ministry in the Lincoln area are welcome to be a part of the Lincoln Area Youth Ministry Network. This group meets on the second Thursday every month at 11 a.m. at Scooters on 84th and Van Dorn Streets in Lincoln. Enjoy sharing ideas, questions and events. Youth ministry adult leaders who are in Omaha and the surrounding area are invited to be a part of the Omaha Area Youth Ministry Network.
